by William Shakespeare
For the first time ever, Gunn Theatre presents Shakespeare’s shortest and, arguably, the bloodiest play-in-the-round on Spangenberg Theatre! (Arrive early for seats in the “Splash Zone!â€) Our Macbeth is guaranteed to thrill, shock and excite. Join us as we follow the Macbeths on their descent into a truly deep and dark madness. Set in the late days of the Roman Empire, corruption gnaws at the roots of a once grand society. Once the golden warrior Macbeth meets those weird sisters who make some haunting and disturbing predictions, nobody gets a good night’s sleep again… You won’t want to miss this beautiful and horrifying exploration of ambition, love and insanity. Let it Come Down!
