This great American play has been staged countless times since its 1938 premiere in Princeton, NJ. There are cosmic wonders to be discovered in the play, and Wilder’s simple yet brilliant structure creates in his New Hampshire village of the early 1900s a celebration of both the marvel of everyday existence and the “something way down deep” that’s eternal about every human being. Our Town presents a long-gone way of American life, yet the eternal truths it embraces continue to stun the audiences of today.

Auditions:
Auditions for Our Town were Wednesday and Thursday, September 2 and 3 after school at 3:40 in the Studio Theatre. You did not need to memorize anything for the auditions. You were supposed to download and fill out an audition sheet before you arrived at the theatre for auditions. Read the whole play here.
